Last fall, Harmon teamed up with ACI Boland to provide a new play house to one lucky family. The time and material along with a design was auctioned off at an ALS Fundraiser Banquet.

The winning bidder was to be presented with a free standing playhouse. Unfortunately, due to the size and location, that plan had to be changed in the field. The playhouse became more of an addition to the existing home.

Location and size constraints provided Harmon, ACI Boland and the owner with a few problems. To overcome this, we put our heads together to establish a redesign of the playhouse, then proceeded to build the structure.

With input from the owner, we finished the interior which included elevated beds for their two girls and a built in desk below. The girls love it. And, the playhouse comes with an added bonus. It’s set up to become the husband’s new “man cave” if and when their girls grow out of the space.

Harmon would like to thank Teague Electric, Bedrock Concrete, Metro Air, Drewco Interiors and Owen Lumber for providing the time and materials to make this project a success.

Check out these photos.. Could you imagine having something like this when you were a kid?
